Ourt partner Marie Rogers is a guest speaker at the “Property Risks & Coverage International Insurance Conference” organized by the English law firm PLEXUS LAW in London on the 30th June 2016.
Marie updated the London insurance market on the issue of Third Party rights of direct action as a matter of Spanish law , alongside guest speakers from Australia, Israel and Argentina.

ABOGADOS and SEAIDA (the Spanish branch of the International Association of Insurance Law) have collaborated in the presentation of the Seminar “Liabilities and Insurance in Travel Law” that will take place on Thursday 21st April 2016 at the premises of the CIFF Business School in C/ María de Molina 27 in Madrid, and our partner David Diez Ramos will lead the discussion as well as speak on his designated topic.
We have attended the Big Tent Event in London organized each year by TRAVLAW for the Tourism Sector. On this occasion, all partners attended the event to mark the steady growth of this area of law within the firm.
We are pleased to have entered into a legal cooperation agreement with Polish law firm DUDKOWIAK & KOPEC to attend to the needs of theirs clients in Spain and the needs of our clients in Poland in the areas of law that both firms share a mutual specialization.
We have again drafted the chapter on Spanish Shipping Law for the 2016 edition of Getting the Deal Through alongside some 35 other international law firms specialized in this sector. The Chapter on Spanish Shipping Law incorporates all the relevant changes introduced by the Law of Maritime Navigation 14/2014 that came into force on the 25th September 2014.
